Dive Club
Ocean Divers runs a very active and fun divers club, with lots of diving, social events and dive travel trips.
We've always got local dives planned for the month in advance, and welcome any level of diver to join our dives.
We do our best to help our club members to improve their skills whatever their level. Some divers are happy to cruise, shore dive under piers looking at fish, gather the odd scallop or crayfish whilst some drive to Mount Gambier cave diving for a weekend or head out to the ship’s graveyard for some wreck diving adventures.
We have regular pool dives that allow our club members to try out the latest equipment, or practice their skills in a controlled environment.
We deeply care about the marine environment and conduct regular clean-up dives. We have adopted two dive sites to monitor for debris collection as part of Project Aware’s Adopt-a-dive site campaign.

Instructor / Dive Master lead dives
Meetings are held on a regular basis and may include a get-together at our dive centre where we invite guest speakers, hold DVD nights, have trip reports or information on new products.
On some Club nights, we have theme nights, trivia competitions or we head out for a non diving related evening such as go-karting, 10 pin bowling, laser-force or paintball.
We are always keen to hear your ideas for a club night with a difference but whatever we do, our club meetings always provide a comfortable, friendly atmosphere and it’s a great surrounding for meeting new people and best of all new dive buddies.
The Club runs boat dive trips around Port Phillip Heads as well as shore dives and with daylight saving, comes our mid week dusk or night shore dives.
Trips are also organised to take members diving at interstate sites, such as Merimbula, Mt Gambier, Byron Bay, South West Rocks or Tasmania and these have always proved to be very popular. We also provide a variety of overseas trips to suit a wide range of tastes.
