Discover Snorkeling

The PADI Discover Snorkeling program gives you the opportunity to explore the underwater world with guidance and assistance from an experienced member of our staff.  We run regular boat trips to snorkel with the seals over the summer months and we can usually offer snorkeling at some of our shore diving sites.  Contact us for more information.

Pre-requisites:

None – anyone over the age of 8 can join in the fun

Cost:

Varies depending on shore or boat trips.

Course Content:

Overview of points of interest, aquatic life, local conditions and hazards.

Snorkeling skills:

• Mask defogging

• Mask and fin adjustment

• Donning equipment

• Swimming with fins

• Snorkel/supplied air breathing

• Entering and exiting the water

• Maintaining yourself in the water comfortably and with ease
