Why IANTD Gas Blender?
The IANTD Gas Blender and Service Technician program is designed to train students in the safe handling of Oxygen and the preparation of Nitrox. This program will also teach procedures in the safe preparation and maintenance of life support systems to be used with breathing gases other than air.
The primary goals of this course are:
- To facilitate a better knowledge of various gas blending systems.
- To train qualified personnel to safely and effectively blend EANx mixtures.
- To train qualified personnel to prepare equipment for EANx use.
- To facilitate a better understanding of where and how universal standards and laws apply.
What do you need to start?
There are no pre requisites for the IANTD Gas Blender course.
You will be required to review the layout of the manual prior to the start of the course so that you are familiar with the content and you can easily reference the appropriate sections throughout the program. Each student must have their own copy of the manual.
What will you do?
The IANTD Gas Blender course is run over 12 hours and includes classroom theory covering 7 units and hands on training where you will have practical experience under the direct supervision of your instructor.
