Equipment Specialist

The PADI Equipment Specialist Course covers the theory and principles of the operation of diving equipment and maintenance procedures. It includes an orientation to repair procedures, simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and common problems with equipment. The course also makes recommendations for maintenance and storage of equipment and gives divers an introduction to new equipment.

Pre-requisites:

PADI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent

Cost: $160.00 (inc. GST)

Requirements:

Pen and paper for notetaking – course notes

will be handed out on the first evening
2 passport style photographs

Course Content:

Four evenings of theory and hands on workshop. This course will give you the knowledge to field service the equipment you use and to recognize the common problems that occur.

Please note: At the completion of this course you are not qualified to service SCUBA diving equipment.
