Heather Pardoe

PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER

Heather learnt to dive on holiday in Thailand in 1998 and continued diving on holidays in warm water until arriving in Melbourne in 2002.  She became a PADI instructor after a course run by Ocean Divers and then learnt to dive in a dry suit.  Having made the transition to temperate diving, Heather returned to the UK to become a Primary School Teacher with the intention of gaining permanent residency in Australia.

A few years later, after braving the UK waters and a couple of trips to Scapa Flow in the Northern Isles of Scotland, Heather has returned to Melbourne and is working for Ocean Divers as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer.  She is able to teach Deep, Wreck, Dry Suit, Nitrox and Digital Underwater Photography specialities and is also an Emergency First Response Instructor.

Heather has travelled to some great destinations including Egypt, Mauritius, Thailand, all around Australia and most recently Truk Lagoon.  She is currently developing her technical diving skills to be able to explore some of the many wrecks in Port Phillip Bay.
